Michaela is a certified Slovak tax advisor and co-founder of AVENIAS Tax. Prior to founding AVENIAS Tax she had been working as a consultant and manager in the tax and legal department of KPMG for eleven years (2004-2015). With her dual qualifications as a lawyer and a tax advisor Michaela effectively solves various issues which her clients encounter in their activities. She was involved in many projects including the planning and execution of projects in the area of legal and tax structuring of transactions and products, international taxation and transfer pricing issues. She often represents clients during audits conducted by the state authorities. She provides ongoing legal and advisory services including the preparation of tax returns on income tax, value added tax and local taxes and is also an experienced lecturer. Michaela has extensive experience in providing advice to clients from industries such as trade and services including regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, energy and production.
