Ekaterina graduated in law from Moscow State University of International Relations and obtained her master degree (LL.M.) in International Taxation from the University of Leiden, the Netherlands.
In 2003-2004 Ekaterina worked as a lawyer in a private management company where she managed a wide range of legal and tax issues related to assets and businesses in Russia, Ukraine and Switzerland. In 2005 she completed her internship in the Amsterdam office of Deloitte. Thereafter Ekaterina joined Ernst&Young in Moscow, where she advised major local and multinational companies on structuring, tax risk assessment and tax planning matters in relation to inbound and outbound investment projects and M&A transactions. Ekaterina also led a few projects related to managing permanent establishment exposure for foreign companies in Russia, pre-IPO restructuring projects, participated in preparation of listing documentation for companies seeking to place public debt or equity. In 2007 Ekaterina relocated to Ernst&Young in Tel Aviv, Israel where she worked as an International Tax Manager advising on variety of tax advisory assignments and structuring projects in the CIS, Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America and India. Ekaterina also coordinated the work of the Russian tax liaison desk at Ernst&Young, Tel Aviv.In early 2010 Ekaterina joined IntelliQ, a new independent Moscow-based professional firm specialized in transaction support and tax advisory services.

Russia, also officially known as the Russian Federation, is a state in northern Eurasia. It is a federal semi-presidential republic, comprising 83 federal subjects.
